Fruit Poster
For my fruit poster, I decided on the colors blue and orange because they are contrasting colors and I thought they would make the poster pop off the page. I created a "L" shape to put the fruit in and replicated it on the top to show some symmetry within the work. I set up my fruit in a specific order where there would be a rhythm to it: a pattern of red and yellow.
To modify my poster, I changed the tint of the blue background so the lettering contrasts more to the background. In addition to this, I changed the grey to a lighter shade to contrast more, so the background of the fruit icons did not blend in. I took the advice of the professor and went along with the chalkboard/grocery store idea, so I added a few components to the paragraph box (or chalkboard). I played around with the opacity of some white rectangles to replicate eraser marks and give the appearance that it is, in fact, a chalkboard that is being used.
